There’s room at God’s Table for you

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me — watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

I am writing to the tired and the worn-out. At the beginning of the month of November, I decided to be more fervent in my walk with God but along the line I got carried away with life issues. I got tired and exhausted from trying to fix the pieces of my life together. I kept wrestling with my thoughts to find where each part of my life fits in the big picture.

Like Peter, as I shifted my focus from Jesus to the storms and waves I began to sink. I searched for peace in the wrong places; I kept meditating on the pieces of my life that don’t fit right.
As I write to you, I also write to myself. Stop trying to figure life out on your own! I have realized that my life is not a puzzle and I can’t fix every piece of my life through my own human abilities.

God doesn’t want us to be worn out; He wants us to trust Him and rest. God has overcome the world for us. There is nothing bigger than God; your fears and frustrations do not stand a chance.
You can’t live in both fear and faith. Daddy (God) wants you to live in faith so you can enjoy all the benefits of the life He designed for you. He wants you to live in His rest. Daddy has offered us rest in Him. Jesus invites you to experience “the unforced rhythms of grace.”

I wonder what your life looks like right now? Are you tired or exhausted? You too can leave in the unforced rhythms of God’s Grace.
God is calling you today, He came just so you may have life. He took your pain and suffering. If only you can see that Daddy (God) just wants to help you. He doesn’t want you to do life alone.
Jesus is reaching out to you today, there’s enough room at His table for you.
