Recently, I got posted for my National Youth Service orientation in Kano State, Nigeria. First thing that came to mind was the insecurity in the northern states. I had sleepless nights, deciding whether to go or not but I eventually decided to go.
I left home banking on God’s word for me – “I have gone before you. Don’t be afraid.” These words of hope saw me through my stay at the orientation camp. Even when fear tried to creep in, I reminded myself of God’s word to me. I must say, I saw the hand of God throughout that whole experience. From the airport to the camp gate, and even inside camp; it felt like God strategically placed people at each point to assist me.
Are you in a difficult situation or are you about to make a tough decision that may make or mar you?
What has God spoken to you to concerning that situation? Has he assured you of victory?
Has he promised to be with you till the end? Then, you can totally bank on God’s word. His word is a sure bet! God will definitely come through for you. He will keep you in His love and care.
“Those who trust in God are like Zion Mountain: Nothing can move it, a rock-solid mountain you can always depend on. Mountains encircle Jerusalem, and God encircles his people— always has and always will.” Psalms 125:1-2 MSG
